I have the great good fortune to be working with some lovely ladies residing in the landscaped estate of a beautiful old priory. The gardens and flowers are stunning.

From the courtyard we can see for miles across the Devon landscape.

Whilst indoors, we sketched a few of our own, using chalk pastels.

Our little Art class have been wonderfully open to trying out new techniques, including collage using tissue paper

And as it was too hot to draw outside this week, we brought photographs of the landscape and flowers indoors, which were rendered in the artists choice of medium.

Nobody believes me when I tell them their work is wonderful! But I think you’ll agree; these are quite lovely drawings and paintings, in their own right and also celebrating the stunning surroundings of their home.
