There is magic at the end of every rainbow!
Every second Sunday between September and Easter, a bunch of us get together to explore craft and fibre projects. This page is a gallery of some of the fabulous three dimensional pieces made so far.
Preparing the tools

Setting the scene
The house becomes a classroom, a chance to absorb ideas from each other, catch up on ideas , drink coffee, stitch, felt, make and just chill .

Becoming even more colourful than usual !

Paper mache
Our first project was a paper mache sculpture, inspired by Julie Arkell figures. Using a little wire maquette and newspaper, Modroc and then tissue paper and decoupage papers to decorate. With final touches of acrylic paint and tiny buttons etc.

A quirky, colourful bunch of animal characters

As well as a great bunch of friends!

Needlefelting

Needle felting is a crafting technique where notched or barbed needles are used to shape wool fibers by repeatedly stabbing them, interlocking the fibers to create firm structures. This method is used for making both 2D and 3D designs, such as small animal figures and decorative items.
Our group began with little mice and birds
