One of the best things about our garden, is sharing it with our amazing Art group for the annual summer party

We have been training the flowers for months!

At least a few blooms have escaped the intense sunshine recently

Creating the dream class, workshop or event wouldn’t be possible without wonderful reliable friends. Thankyou so much Alan and Carol for the help with bunting, garden shuffling and coffee making on the day.

A quiet moment before the day began

Preparations began in earnest with quiche making, platter making, and lots of coordinating between guests

Including Annette’s delicious homemade scones

And so the day began, with the weather behaving impeccably . We began with giant Jenga and an Art quiz.

Swiftly followed by a game of clown pants!

And I even managed a ball in the right place! ( thankfully they were big pants!!)

While the croquet was played

And then it was time to get the lunch prepared. A huge amount of effort went into everyone’s dishes, especially those who made quiches, salads, sandwiches and cakes from scratch. The buffet lunch was incredible and delicious

Everyone managed to stay fairly cool with Martha the caravan providing cold drinks!

A fun day of game playing, delicious food and easy conversation amongst good friends in the sunshine. Thankyou to the Art group for being such good fun, and for all of you who support our gallery and Artists every week as they show you their wonderful creations!
